Former President Jonathan’s Daughter’s Wedding
This wedding took place between former President Jonathan’s daughter and her then boyfriend Godswill Osim Edward. Although this is not the first wedding involving an incumbent president’s daughter, it is the most expensive.

This is one of the most recent high profile weddings in Nigeria. Involved in this wedding were Halima Babangida, daughter of former military head of state, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida and Gombe born Alhaji Auwal Abdullahi.
In attendance at this wedding were some of the biggest names in Nigerian politics. Among them were APC national leader Bola Tinubu, former president Goodluck Jonathan, senate president Bukola Saraki and a host of others.
