Over the years, a whole lot of cars have found their way into the Nigerian market. Although to a fair extent they have all been patronized by Nigerian car lovers, some have enjoyed even more success. These cars that have enjoyed greater patronage over time have won the hearts of many Nigerians. This has kept them doing very well in the market.

This article contains a list of 15 most loved cars by Nigerians. Vehicles on this list did not make it because of their reliability or fuel efficiency alone.  One other factor which is frequency on Nigerian roads was also put into consideration. The Camry can be afforded by people from different classes and is very cheap to maintain.

The Corolla is Toyota’s highest selling product all over the world. Alongside the Camry and Accord, the Corolla is one of the most popular cars on Nigerian roads. It addition to having a great design, this car can be easily maintained.

Honda Accord

The Honda Accord is the only car in Nigeria that can give the Camry a run for its money as far as patronage and popularity are concerned. Although it is rated slightly higher than the Camry, it is not as popular because of the cost of maintenance. The Accord cuts across diverse social classes and is suitable for people of all ages.

The Honda pilot is most likely Honda’s most prestigious SUV in Nigeria at the moment. It has gradually bought its way into the heart of Nigerians. The Honda Pilot has many attributes which make it stand out from other vehicles.

The fact that a vehicle is on this list goes a long way to tell how successful it is in the Nigerian market. However, not being on this list does not mean a particular vehicle does not enjoy good patronage by Nigerians.
