2 Church Guards Apprehended For Stealing Pastor’s Daughter’s Panties

Two security guards identified as Samuel Linus and Adekunle Ogundana, who allegedly stole two underwears from the daughter of a clergyman within a church’s premises in Akure metropolis, were on Wednesday paraded alongside suspected kidnappers by the Ondo State Police Command.

Speaking with newsmen in the state capital, the state Police spokesperson identified as Femi Joseph, stated that the daughter of the clergyman washed two of her pants and had spread them on the line at around 8 p.m. while the guards were present and by 6 a.m., the following day, the panties had been stolen.

Femi Joseph stated the suspects, who are attached to the orthodox church, were posted to the apartment, which was highly seen by a private security outfit in Ondo state.

Both of the suspects denied complicity in the offence for which they were paraded.

The State Police Command also parade two suspected Indian hemp dealers known as Sunday Femi and Friday Ami, who allegedly hit a 75-year-old grandmother, Modupe Olorunfemi, and killed her.

Femi and Ami killed her for allegedly giving security operatives details about their illegal planting and selling of Indian hemp in Owo area.

The suspects would be charged to court after the end of the investigation as stated by the State Police Command.

One of the suspects who admitted to being dealing in cannabis business said:

“It was Gbenga that sent us to kill her and he has run away. “He promised to give us N500,000 for the ‘job,’ but up till today he has not fulfilled his promise, because he is nowhere to be found.“

While speaking about the six suspected kidnappers, the State Police spokesperson, Femi Joseph, stated that they were arrested at a hideout in Emure-Owo Forest during a raid by the Joint Task Force of the security agencies in Ondo state.

The Police spokesperson informed newsmen that the suspected kidnappers were apprehended at about 3 a.m. by the Joint Task Force codenamed Operation crime free, acting on a tip-off.
