— Femi Fani-Kayode and other important dignitaries of the country have aired their opinions concerning the claim by the APC that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is not a citizen of Nigeria.

— According to Reno Omokri, the claim could cause Cameroon to approach international court and lay claim of Adamawa State.

Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the allegation that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is not a Nigerian.

Reacting on his official Twitter page, he queried why a ‘non-Nigerian’ will accuse Atiku of being a foreigner. According to him, this new claim by APC has proved a point that Nigeria is a Zoo.

The former minister wrote: “When a non-Nigerian accuses a bona fide Nigerian of being a foreigner you begin to appreciate why those that have insisted on calling Nigeria a zoo may have a point.

“It is only in Nigeria that a man whose father was from Niger Republic can accuse others of being foreigners!”

Also, Reno Omokri, the former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has equally reacted to the assertion by the All Progressives Congress, claiming that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is not a Nigerian.

Equally reacting on his Twitter page, Omokri said the claim by the All Progressives Congress claim is likely to stir Cameroon to approach international court and lay claim of Adamawa State.

In the words of the former spokesperson: “Since President Buhari and APC are claiming that Adamawa people are Cameroonians, I will not be surprised if Cameroon goes to the International Court again to lay claim to Adamawa just as they laid claim to Bakassi and won before the CIJ on October 10, 2002.”
