“4th Republic” Premieres In Lagos

 4th Republic is a political thriller mirroring the political situation of Nigeria.

The movie is by Adedayo Ade-Rufus, Directed by Ishaya Bako.

Co produced by Lala Akindoju and staring Kate Henshaw, Linda Ejiofor, Yakubu Muhammed, Enyinna Nwigwe and many more.

The movie premiere took place at IMAX cinema in Lekki Lagos.

The premiere was attended by Kate Henshaw, Lala Akindoju, Chigurl, Emmanuel Ikubese, Linda Ejiofor, Kehinde Bankole, Enyinna Nwingwe, Yakubu Muhammed and many more.

It is said that the movie was produced last year but accurately predicted the 2019 election that took place in February and March 2019.

The movie starred a female Governor played by Kate Henshaw and shows what happen behind the scenes of political ambitions.

I think stories like this should be told,” Emmanauel Ikubese who was present at the premiere spoke with Hip TV, “It kinds of stir people’s mind to what is right in terms of election in Nigeria and governance in Nigeria.”

“We all know that Kate Henshaw gives a performance” Kehinde Bankole said, “It’s a serious topic but told in an exciting way, interesting way.”

Kate Henshaw the heroine of the movie says the movie is something people will find relatable, a story that is our own.

The fourth Republic is an active reality,” said Denrele Edun “It looks like the producers possessed a magic mirror to have predicted the 2019 elections.”

“I think it is imperative to tell this kind of stories.”

“Our countries and politics, we can say is in near shambles in terms of democratic and economic development as a nation.” Yakubu Muhammad said of the movie.

“Perhaps, it is time to use film and media to shed light on how we can really move ourselves forward as a nation.”  Said Yakubu Muhammad.

The movie is set to be released on the 12th of April and is directed by Ishaya Bako, an award winning Film director who directed The Royal Hibiscus Hotel and Road To Yesterday.
