Abike Dabiri and Sen. Shehu Sanni reacts to the arrest of drug cartel victim Zainub Aliyu as FG intensifies moves for her release from Saudi Prison

– Abike Dabiri has reacted to the arrest of Zainub Aliyu in Saudi Arabia as she disclosed that the Federal Government is intensifying moves for her release

– Also Sen. Shehu Sanni has also reacted to the arrest as he called on Zainub Aliyu’s family to write to the National Assembly so that it can interfere

Following the arrest of Zainub Aliyu, who happens to be victim of drug cartel,  Abike Dabiri, the special adviser to Pres. Muhammadu Buhari on Foreign relations and disapora , has reacted to the arrest in Saudi Arabia as she disclosed that the Federal Government has intensified on the moves to secure her release.

Abike Dabiri in a statement disclosed that Pres. Muhammadu Buhari has given directives to the Attorney General of the Federation AGF to ensure justice for Zainub Aliyu.

She hinted that the FG has so far made progress and that Zainab and two others in the same situation will soon return to the country.

Abike Dabiri in a tweet wrote, ”Pres. Muhammadu Buhari as directed the AGF to ensure justice for Zainub. We intervened immediately Zainub s Dad brought this to our attention. We ve made good progress on Zainub and 2 others in same situation But Senate intervention welcome.”

Senator Shehu Sanni in his own reaction called on the parent of Zainub Aliyu to write to the National Assembly stating her cause and innocence for it to interfere in the issue.

He said, “If the Parents of Zainab Habibu Aliyu,the Nigerian girl in detention in Saudi Arabia can immediately send a petition to NASS stating her case and innocence, we can move action to highlight her case and demand for urgent action to secure her freedom.”

Zainab Aliyu is currently cooling off in a Saudi Arabian Prison after she was arrested with drugs, according to report it was recently discovered that she was framed by some drug Cartel in Kano Airport.
