Aisha Buhari advises APC to give political posts to card-carrying members
– Mrs. Aisha Buhari advised the APC to give political appointments to card-carrying members of the party
– She also applauded Nigerians for voting in her husband for second term in office
Nigerian First Lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari in a recent statement has advised the ruling party, All Progressive Congress APC, on what to do concerning political appointments in it new tenure which will begin on the 29th of May.
The First Lady in her statement advised the APC to give political appointments to party card carrying members alone.
She made this appeal during a statement at Duara, Katsina state, on Thursday 7th of March.
The First Lady in her statement noted that the constitution guiding the APC made it known that political appointment to offices in an APC led Federal Government will be given to card-carrying members of the party, she urged the party to follow it constitution.
According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the First Lady, Suleiman Haruna, he disclosed that the event which took place at Duara stadium attracted youths and women, supporters of the APC from all over Katsina.
Mrs. Aisha Buhari in her statement also applauded Nigerians for coming out to vote for her husband, Pres. Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 Presidential election which took place on the 23rd of February.
The First Lady in her statement assured the supporters that the Pres. Buhari led APC Federal Government will do more to improve their lives.
She said, “I wish to thank the women and youth of this country for the number of votes they gave President Buhari in the 2019 election and to assure that he will continue to do his best to make Nigeria a better country.”
