Stephanie Del Valle, of Puerto Rico, was last night crowned the winner of the 2016 Miss World beauty pageant at the grand finale held at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland, USA.
The world pageantry event held this year is the 66th edition of the famous event which began on the 26th November. 117 beautiful young women from all over the world, competed for the prestigious title.
Sunday night was a night Stephanie Valle would never forget as the Puerto Rican beauty was crowned the new Miss World ahead of 20 other contestants. Other winners from different challenge events also emerged, categories such as, Talent, Top Model, Beach Fashion, Social Media and Beauty With A Purpose.
The 19-year-old miss Valle is a brown-eyed brunette student who speaks English, Spanish and French, she says she plans of venturing into the entertainment industry in the near future.
Stephanie Valle was crowned by now ex miss World 2015, Mireia Lalaguna of Spain.
Miss Stephanie Del Valle described her victory as an “honor and a great responsibility” to represent her Caribbean homeland.
Kenyan representative, Evelyn Thungu, who represented Kenya and Africa came fourth in the event.
