Am Safe, Some Misguided Nigerians Attacked Me in Spain – Amaechi

• IPoB has confirmed attack on Amaechi.
• The Spanish Police came to his rescue.

Minister of Transportation has revealed that he was attacked in Spain by some misguided Nigerians.

The Minister was in Spain to attend an event on climate change.

Revealing the attack via his Twitter page, the minister said Spanish police officers succeeded in stopping his attackers before they could hurt him.

“Some minutes ago, I was attacked by a few misguided Nigerians while on national assignment at a climate change event in Madrid, Spain. They were quickly repelled by the Spanish police before they could do any harm. I am fine. I was not hurt. Thanks for your support & prayers,” he tweeted.

In August, former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu had confirmed a physical assault on him by some members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPoB) in Nuremberg, Germany.
