“AMVCA Attendees May Have Been Exposed To Coronavirus” – Lagos State Government

Lagos State Government has notified all attendees of the 7th AMVCA which held on the 14th of March at Eko Hotel and Suites that they may have been exposed to Coronavirus.

Prior the statement, it was already rumoured that someone who tested positive to the virus attended the event hence putting the participants at risk.

Lagos state commissioner of health, Akin Abayomi has advised everyone who attended the event to self isolate and call the Corona toll-free line in case they notice symptoms.

#COVID19 Lagos Alert?!

“I hereby notify you that all participants at the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) held on14th March at @EkoHotels may have come in contact with one of the confirmed cases in Lagos and are most likely to have been exposed to #COVID19 Infection.

“Attendees at the said event are therefo advised to:

1️⃣observe strict self- isolation. 

2️⃣ call our #TollFree line 08000corona if they notice any of the #COVID19 related symptoms

3️⃣ Let’s #TakeResponsibility by practicing #SocialDistancing to prevent the spread of the virus.“
