According to an eye-witness of the events;

“The crisis is not a small matter. Immediately the shooting started, the police on the ground ran away because those boys were heavily armed. They were not carrying pistols. I don’t know how to describe their guns, but the guns they carried surpassed that of the police in terms of the sophistication. It was after the whole crisis has simmered that the police and some SARS officials came to the scene,” the eye-witness said.

Police officers, stationed at the area to maintain orderliness, confirmed the killing, adding they have deposited the body of the deceased at the morgue.
