Armed Gunmen In Bauchi State Kidnap Four INEC Official

Four yet-to-be identified staff members of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Bauchi State have been abducted by armed men in the state at the time of the elections in Bauchi state.

According to some report, the incident was known to have taken place at Jamare Local Government Registration Area 02 with Polling Unit Code 010.

A staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), who escaped the abduction made it clear that the armed security operatives came in seven Toyota Hilux vans.

According to the staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, the abducted staff were taken away with voting materials in the state.

The INEC staff said in a statement:

“Four of our staff in Jamare LGA Registration Area 02 with Polling Unit Code 010 have been abducted with voting materials. The place was invaded by heavily armed security operatives who came in seven Toyota Hilux Vans, and took the four INEC officials to Jamare LGA to perfect their plots.”
