Army Personnel Who Threatened To Rape Women in Edo Apprehended in Lagos [Video]

The army personnel who in a viral video threatened to rape women in Delta state and give them HIV have been arrested.

The officers recorded the video in reaction to the killing of a soldier.

In the viral video, one of them was heard alongside his colleague ready to unleash mayhem in the state, especially on women.

“Warri people, una don buy job oo. Una kill soldier ba? Your mother, I will make sure I f**k your mother skin to skin.
I will f**k her skin to skin, no condom. I will make sure she carry HIV, your daughters would carry HIV, your wives would carry HIV. You get mind ba?,” he said in the video.”

The arrest of the soldiers was confirmed by Delta Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa as he deals with the threat seriously.

“We will always take all threats against the people of Delta State seriously. This is why, I am pleased to report that the men in uniform that threatened to molest women in Warri — in a viral video — have been apprehended in Lagos, and are being investigated by the Nigerian Army.”

He also lauded the Nigerian Army for the swift action over the matter.

The Army had confirmed their arrest at the 9 Brigade Ikeja Military Cantonment Lagos State on 3 April 2020 and investigation is ongoing.
