Army Troops In Ondo State Apprehends 5 Kidnappers and Rescues 5 Hostages
Troops of 32 Artillery Brigade located in Akure, Ondo state on Tuesday, April 16th, raided a kidnappers hideout in Jugbere village in Owo local government area and apprehended 5 kidnappers and rescued 5 hostages and 4 other kidnapped victims in the area.
A statement which was released from the Nigerian Army stated that the raid occurred after they received credible information of kidnap incident involving nine (9) persons at Mr Godwin Ugu Integrated Agric Farm Owo.
According to report, the rescued hostages and the apprehended suspects who had minor injuries were taken to the Brigade Medical Centre for medical treatment to be carried out.

Meanwhile, during the course of the operation, the following ammunition items were recovered from the suspected criminals; They included, 1 Dane gun, 1 Axe, 2 Cutlasses, 8 Live cartridges, 1Handset, 3 Ring charms.
The statement released from the Nigerian Army also stated that the suspects will be handed over to the appropriate civil security agency when preliminary investigation have been concluded.
