Arsenal Vs Cardiff EPL 29 January Preview And Scores

Arsenal will be seeking to bounce back from a defeat to Manchester United in an FA Clash at Old Trafford. The Gunners will be welcoming Cardiff City to North London and be willing to come out with a win in a bid to close up the gap between themselves and third-placed Chelsea.

Arsenal

Arsenal’s style of play has come under scrutiny and heavy criticisms in the Unai Emery’s era. This isn’t unrelated to the fact that the Gunners have been hugely inconsistent in their play.

It could be argued that the slips Arsenal suffer comes from their defence with their offence pretty much impressive enough to offset the goals they ship in, keeping them ahead of Manchester United on goal difference.

That said, their home form this season has been particularly impressive with their last home game ending in a 2-0 victory over third-placed Chelsea. They’ve lost just once at home this term and have won nine out of twelve games in front of their home fans.

Cardiff City

Neil Warnock’s side have just suffered a loss in Emiliano Sala after the striker was declared missing and even after feared dead. The striker was signed from Nantes this January transfer window for a club record transfer.

Things haven’t looked good for Cardiff away from home as they have won only one of their 11 Premier League away games and it would be a tall order for them to pull off a surprise win against Arsenal at the Emirates.
