Aubameyang In Black Panther Costume Downs Rennes in Europa League Tie

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang completed Arsenal’s comeback in stunning fashion as he made way to dip his hand inside an advertising hoarding to pull out the mask he had tried and failed to wear in the match against Manchester United.

Aubameyang finally assumed the role of Black Panther after destabilizing and demolishing Rennes’ defence.

The Gabonese was all stealth and speed as he constantly prowled on the shoulders of Rennes’ defence with feline menace, looking to exploit the blindspot of the defenders.

He was sure the superhero at the Emirates and might well soon force the fans to compose a song for him as he assumes the throne of the Black Panther of the Emirates and probably the whole of North London.

Aubameyang’s goals on either side of full-back, Maitland-Niles goal secured the home win for Arsenal and most importantly took them to the last-eight of the competition.

Arsenal seem to be coming together under the reins of Unai Emery. However, it is only their home run that looks dreadful enough. The Gunners are almost untouchable in front of their home fans and now have a run of fixtures in the Premier League that could ensure that they qualify for the Champions League next season.

Maitland-Niles who was indeed spectacular in the night made combined with Aaron Ramsey down the right flank before the latter sent in a cross for Aubameyang to just tapin.

Rennes must have felt they were on the receiving end of an officiating gaffe when Maitland-Niles connected to a good work by Aubameyang to score but with a clear offside ensuing in the build-up.

Arsenal 3-0 Rennes it ended.
