Aubameyang Tips Arsenal To Finish In Top Four

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has put a series of impressive performances for Arsenal this season has said that was sure the North London club would make ‘top four’ by the close of the season.

It is suggested that the Gabonese might just be in the form of his life having remained a prolific presence at the Emirates this season.

With a win against Sheffield United on Wednesday, the Gunners could move up to third place.

The North London remain unbeaten in their last eight games across all competitions, emerging victorious in five of those eight.

Although, summer signing, Nicolas Pepe isn’t living up to the hype surrounding him before his move to the Premier League, the club’s other stars are making up for him.

The Gabonese is now second in the Premier League goalscoring charts, just below Sergio Aguero.

In the wake of receiving the Player of the Month Award for September, Aubameyang suggested that there was no reason why Arsenal shouldn’t make it to the top four this season.

“I’m sure we will achieve the top four. That’s the goal. That’s our aim.”

Following talks of being in the best form of his career, Aubameyang is disinterested in such suggestions. He says he just wants to enjoy his career

He added:

“I feel good, I feel great.

“I’m feeling free on the pitch. It’s a good start. I don’t know if it’s the best form of my career but it’s a good one so I will try to keep the level up.”

Having faced Sheffield United on Monday, Arsneal will be preparing to get into Europa league action on Thursday where they play hosts to Vitoria de Guimaraes.

They will then welcome Crystal Palace on home ground in their next Premier League encounter before wrapping up their October round of games with a Carabao fourth-round clash with Liverpool.
