Babajide Sanwo-Olu reflects on the importance of Good Friday applauds Pres. Buhari for Easter gifts to Nigerian Workers

– Lagos State Governor-Elect, Babajide Sanwo-Olu reflected on the importance of Good Friday as he listed the points it stands for

– He also applauded Pres. Muhammadu Buhari for the Easter Gift he gave to Nigerian Workers

The Lagos state Governor-Elect during the just concluded 2019 General Election, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressive Congress APC in a recent statement has reacted on the importance of the Good Friday, which is symbolic to followers of Jesus Christ across the globe.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu in his statement reflected on the importance of good Friday as he listed out what it teaches.

He said the Good Friday teaches about selflessness, compassion, and humility which are important values that can transform any nation or society.

The Governor-Elect of Lagos State in his statement said, “#GoodFriday teaches us about selflessness, compassion and humility, values that can transform nations and societies.”

He also wished Christians and Lagosians well as they celebrate the Good Friday with their loved ones.

As we celebrate #GoodFriday and enjoy the holiday with our loved ones, may the message and spirit of the season lead to changes in our lives & families and Lagos” he added.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu in another statement also applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for the Easter Gift he gave to Nigerian workers.

This statement from Sanwo-Olu comes after Pres. Muhammad Buhari yesterday signed the new national minimum wage bill into law eight years after the last amendment.

With this latest enactment, the Minimum wage has been fixed at the sum of 30,000 naira as against the previous minimum wage of 18,000 naira.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu in a tweet via his Twitter handle wrote, “A great Good Friday and Easter Gift. Thanks you His Excellency, President Muhammdu Buhari.”
