It is believed that Nigerian lecturers earn very poorly. While they might not be some of the highest earners in the country, what they earn is definitely not as bad as most people assume. Academic staff of most government owned universities earn according to whatever levels they are on. However, their counterparts in private universities earn quite differently. The amount academic staff are paid in private universities is dependent on what level they are and also on the financial strength of the university.

Covenant University

Bowen University
