Biafra War: ‘Shame on You for Committing Genocide’, Femi Fani-Kayode Slams Gowon
Former Aviation Minister. Femi Fani-Kayode has lambasted former military head of state, Major Gen.Yakubu Gowon (rtd), for allegedly committing genocide with the Biafran war.
Some stakeholders in the country recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of the incident.
The reaction of Fani-Kayode was based on a statement credited to Gown, who defended his action as the then head of state.

According to Gowon, the Biafran war was fought only to keep Nigeria one, adding that he sees no reason why he should be remorseful over what has been done.
Fani-Kayode took to his Twitter page to lambaste the former military leader.
“The Biafran war was fought only to keep Nigeria one. I see no reason as to why I should be remorseful over what we’ve done”- Gen. Yakubu Gowon.

Speaking further on the initiation of Operation Amotekun by the southwest governors, the former minister who is a staunch critic of the ruling government lauded the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra 9IPoB), Nnamdi Kanu who supported the initiative over his usual broadcast.
