Big Brother Naija 2019 To Be Hosted in Nigeria

Big Brother Naija 2019 is back with a bang with its auditions starting next month with its main sponsors as bet9ja, DSTV and GOtv. The show will be hosted by Ebuka and will be held this time in Nigeria.

The auditions will hold in the following cities: Lagos, Abuja, PortHarcourt, Enugu, Warri, Ibadan, Calabar, Benin. The auditions are free this time. Even so, interested participants are to come along with their valid international passport for identification purpose.

  • Calabar – Venetian Arena

The reality show has tagged Teni the Entertainer on their official twitter handle for a potential co-hosting of this year’s edition. If this request is granted, we could see a pairing of Ebuka and Teni as our hosts. Yipee!…. let’s get on some Uyo Meyo vibe.

Big Brother Naija is a reality show based on the Big Brother television franchise. In the competition, twelve contestants pitted against each other live in an isolated house competing for the ultimate prize of 100,000 dollars. The contestant who fails to be evicted from the house by the esteemed viewers of the show is declared winner.

Even so, the winner of the edition last year went home with a whooping sum of N45million. Miracle Igbokwe won the grand prize of N25million and a car.

Miracle, a trained pilot, said he would put the money into his training and help his family with the rest. The Lagos-born winner graduated form the International Aviation College and the Nigerian College of Aviation, Zaria. He resides in Owerri, Imo State but was born in Lagos on the 17th of February, 1994.

Miracle tipped Cee-C, Tobi, Alex and Nina to the cash prize in the 2018 edition tagged ‘Double Wahala’. The season began broadcasting on January 22, 2017 and housed 20 housemates for 78 days.

The reality show promises mixed feelings of fun, intrigue, drama, betrayal and emotion.
