Black Lightning – An American Series

Black lightning is an American superhero series published by DC Universe. This movie, originally appeared in the American comics until 2018 when DC universe decided to put it in the big screen. Also, it is widely speculated that it is the third African-American superhero movie after John Stewart; one of the major characters known as Green Lantern.

The Storyline of Black Lightning

The main protagonist; Jefferson Pierce was a child who lived a normal life before his father’s death. However, he acquired electrical superpowers from a technological power belt he wore after some years. And this superpower? It helped him clean up crimes from his neighborhood while looking for his father’s murderer. But after an incident occurred years later, he became a high school principal. No doubt, he looks after high school kids during the day but also, he takes on the superhero form at night to protect his neighborhood.
