Defense Headquarters Announces Date For Alex Badeh’s Burial

– According to the report, the Acting Director of Defense information, Brigadier Gen. John Agim has announced the Burial date for late defense chief Alex Badeh

– The activities for the burial will commence on Sunday, 20th of and he will be buried on 23rd of January 

– Late Chief Alex Badeh died from gunshot injuries in December, 2018

The acting Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General John Agim, in an announcement on Friday has release the date of Burial Service for the late Chief of Staff, Alex Badeh.

He disclosed that the burial activities are expected to commenced on Sunday, 20th of January, 2018 at the Nigerian Air Force Base Protestant Church in Abuja.

The report read, ”The activities lined-up for the interment of the former defence chief will begin on Sunday with the Service of Songs scheduled to hold at the Nigerian Air Force Base Protestant Church in Abuja.”

Brigadier General Agim added that the Burial service will continue through the week with another church service expected to hold in the same location on 23rd of January, 2019.

The report read, ‘a church service is expected to hold at the same venue on Wednesday next week.’

According to the report, the former defense chief, Alex Badeh would finally be laid to rest after the church program on Wednesday afternoon at the National Military Cemetery located at Abuja.

Prior to his death, Former defense chief, Alex Badeh served as the 18th chief of Air Staff and the 15th chief of Defense staff of Nigeria.

He died on the 18th of December, 2018 from gunshot injuries he sustained after his vehicle was attacked by gunmen along the Abuja-Keffi road.

The late Alex Badeh was married to Mary Iyah Badeh until his death.
