Prophet Allegedly Scams Man of 10 Million Naira

A popular South Africa-based Nigerian Pastor, Charles Awuzie, has taken to his official Facebook page to share the story he received in his inbox from a man who was allegedly scammed by another Prophet identified as Solomon Oziegbe, all in the name of sowing seed.

According to the victim, who was all tearful, the Prophet scammed him out of the money he had earlier budgetted to use and build a house for his mother who lives in a dilapidated mud house in his village and also from the money he had set aside as his traveling allowance to Germany.


Nigerian Woman Wows Trump

American President, Donald Trump, was today amazed and wowed by the spectacular football skills of a Nigerian woman.

In a video shared by Donald Trump himself, and captioned as ‘amazing’, the Nigerian woman was depicted and shown to be juggling a football in such a way that endeared viewers to her because of her skills.


DSS Debunks Sack Rumour

The Department of State Security Services, DSS, has debunked a report that the Presidency had moved the former Director General of the agency, Lawan Daura, to covert operations.

The DSS also debunked a report that the Presidency is plotting to sack the current Director General of the service, Yusuf Bichi.


EFCC Arrests Atiku’s Lawyer Uyi Giwa Osagie

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission , EFCC, has arrested Uyi Giwa Osagie, a lawyer who functions as a legal adviser of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, for alleged money laundering.

Osagie was arrested on Monday following the arrest of Alhaji Abdullahi Usman, a Bureau De Change owner based in Lagos, had named him (Uyi Giwa Osagie) as an accomplice, when he (Usman) was caught ferrying $2milion by air from Abuja to Lagos.


American Statesman Reacts To Nigeria’s Election Shift

An immediate past chairman of the United States House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Rep. Chris Smith, has bared his mind on the postponement of Nigeria’s elections.

Rep. Chris Smith said “Responsibility for the delay of Nigeria’s presidential election lays squarely with President Muhammadu Buhari and those close to him.”

Rep. Smith also called upon the Trump Administration and the State Department to focus greater attention upon Nigeria.


Popular Blogger Shed Tears Over Family Kidnap

Popular Zamfara based Nigerian blogger, Shafaatu M Bala, has shed painful tears over the kidnap of her brother, Jibril M Bala, who was kidnapped on his way from Tsafe to Gusau, Zamfara state.

A leaked audio tape conversation between Shafaatu and the kidnappers, depicted her sorrowfully shedding tears, begging and pleading with the kidnappers to collect one million naira, and not the fifteen million naira they had demanded for.

Buhari Holds Closed-Door Meeting With Service Chiefs, Northern Governors

President Muhammadu Buhari held a closed-door meeting with service chiefs, and Northern Governors.

Kaduna State which has been in controvesy for days — with el-Rufai’s claims that 66 people were killed by gunmen in Kajuru Local Government Area (LGA) of the state, and the emerging counter-claims that the supposed killing had been manufactured by the Governor for political reasons — was said to be one of the topics discussed during the meeting.


Buhari Drinks Blood, PDP Says

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of having a continuous craving and desire for human blood.

Secondus, who spoke at a PDP National Executive Council (NEC) emergency meeting said “Before I end this address, let me emphasise once again that Nigerians are tired of President Buhari. And of a truth, over three years, killings and killings and now you have ordered that more people should be killed. Why do you like blood? I want to ask you, Buhari: Why do you like blood?”


Adamawa REC Denies Ever Meeting Atiku

Kashim Gaidam, Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has debunked a report claiming that was implicated in a bribery scandal involving Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“I can state without fear of contradiction that Atiku probably does not know how I look, because I’ve never met him personally, all my life. I was shocked to read what was credited to me by some unscrupulous persons,” he said.


Plot To Bomb INEC Headquarters

Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank, has raised an alarm over an alleged plot to destabilise the postponed elections, by bombing the INEC Headquarters.

“Top among the planners includes three serving Ministers from the Niger Delta, two former governors and three businessmen all within the ruling party and benefiting from its largesse,” he said.
