1. Fulani Herdsmen If Threatened Can Collapse Nigeria – Miyetti Allah

President of the Fulani Miyetti Allah, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo, has boasted that they had powers to collapse the economy of the nation.

Bodejo, in an interview with Sunday Tribune boasted that if the Fulani herdsmen were pushed to the wall by the government by not sympathizing with their plights and giving them ‘gazetted’ grazing routes, they would direct their members to move out of the country and that will collapse the economy of the nation.

2. $1bn Fuel ‘Subsidy’ in 2019 Budget is for Buhari’s Campaign – Atiku

The presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has slammed the NNPC over what he described as huge abuse of financial procedures in the running of the State Oil Company.

Atiku alleged that the $1 billion voted in the 2019 budget to fund the under-recovery in petrol price was simply a slush fund to finance President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election campaign.

3. We Have Improved Power Supply ‘With Less Resources’, Says Fashola

He told Channels Television on Sunday that although the government has yet to completely fulfill the promise made in 2015; even those criticizing the present administration would not argue the improvement in the power sector.

According to him, he met a 4,000MW and has added 3,000MW more – 1,000MW every year. He also claimed that he did this with ‘less resources’.

4. SERAP Sues Saraki for Paying Dariye N14.2m Monthly Allowances in Prison

Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP has filed a lawsuit against the Senate President Bukola Saraki, asking the Federal High Court in Lagos to stop him from paying former Plateau State governor, Senator Joshua Dariye N14.2 million monthly allowances while he serves out a 10-year prison sentence for corruption because such payment violates Nigerian law and international obligations.

5. If We Keep Buhari for the Next 4 Years, We Are Finished – Peter Obi

Peter Obi, vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says Nigeria’s economy will keep “bleeding” if President Muhammadu Buhari remains in power for another four years.

Speaking in Lagos on Saturday, Obi made reference to the 2019 budget Buhari presented to the national assembly on Wednesday.

According to Obi, Nigerians are currently the poorest people on earth, yet the Buhari’s administration is still looking at taxing them the more.

6. We’ve Spent N2.7trn on Infrastructure – Osinbajo

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo said, weekend, that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration had spent a total of N2.7 trillion on infrastructure since assuming office.

According to him, the Federal Government is committed to ensuring that monies belonging to Nigerians are not stolen but used for nation building.

7. Buhari’s Government Promises 2 Geo-political Zones 2023 Presidency.

In an apparent determination to get its principal re-elected, the APC has promised both the South-east and South-west the 2023 presidency in exchange for votes.

Boss Mustapha, Secretary General of the Federation earlier last week announced that Buhari loves Ndigbo and will hand over power to the South-East come 2023 if they vote for him. Interestingly, Professor Yemi Osibanjo has also come out to contradict that it was the Southwest who has a sure ticket to the presidency come 2023 if they vote Buhari.

8. Oshiomhole Was in My State to Insult Me —Okorocha

Govenor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State yesterday said that the national chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole only came to Imo state to rain insults on him.

Recall that Oshiomhole was in Imo state last week for the campaign flag-off ceremony of Imo APC governorship candidate, Senator Hope Uzodimma, where he blasted Okorocha.

9. APC and PDP Takes Jabs at Each Other Over 2019 Budget

In the apparent show of criticisms of each other, APC and PDP takes jabs at each other.

According to APC Buhari, “Atiku should stop playing with Nigerians.”

PDP Atiku on the other hand said Buhari’s budget will worsen Nigerians’ misery and is ‘fundamentally flawed’.

Other members of both party has also trolled similar path.

10. Akwa Ibom Floats Airline

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel has announced the take off of the Akwa Ibom State owned new airline company which will begin operation with fleet of 3 aircraft.

The governor announced this over the weekend during the annual state Christmas carol. He said that his was the first State Government owned airline in Africa ready for commercial scheduled flights.

11. Nnamdi Kanu Names Killers of Alex Badeh

Concerning the murder of Badeh, Nnamdi Kanu has alleged that the late Chief of Air Staff was murdered on the instructions of Abba Kyari and Mamman Daura.

He said Badeh had met with Mrs Aisha Buhari recently to seek help with his corruption cases pending in court because it was taking huge emotional and financial toll on him.

But the wife of the president reportedly told him only Abba Kyari, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, could help him. She reportedly took him to Mr Kyari who was non-committal.

Against that background, Kanu said Aisha Buhari’s reference to Abba Kyari as Badeh’s messiah only “confirms that President Buhari is not alive and Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani is an impostor doing whatever Mr. Kyari says.

“I told you ab initio that the main culprits in this Badeh’s killing are Abba Kyari and Mamman Daura,”  Nnamdi Kanu alleged.

12. Sholaye Jeremi, Alleged Linda Ikeji’ Baby Daddy Says he is Not the Father of Linda’s Son

Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, claims Sholaye Jeremi has said he is not the father of Linda Ikeji’s Son, Jayce Jeremi.

Sholaye Jeremi said he did not father Linda’s son. Says Jayce does not look like him and a 28 year pold “sugarboy” in UK Linda visits secretly and pampers with expensive gifts fathered the child and not him.
