Buhari Condoles With Bagudu And Wammako 

President Muhammad Buhari has condoled with Kebbi state governor, Abubakar Bagudu, former Sokoto governor, Aliyu Wammako and people of their states over the death of their brothers.

The Interior Minister, Abdulrahaman Dambazau led the federal government delegation to the governor in Birnin-Kebbi, the state capital  alongside  FCT Minister, Musa Bello, Justice Minister Abubakar Malami and others.

The delegation later moved to Sokoto state to condole with the Family home of former Sokoto governor, Senator Aliyu Wammako over the death of his younger brother,

Business: Buhari Calls for partnership With State Governments

President Muhammadu Buhari has called on state government to partner with his administration in running businesses in the society.

Buhari  urged the governments to also provide the needed infrastructure to link farms to processing plants and markets, and above all, provide a conducive environment for businesses and their host communities to thrive.

According to him, agriculture contributes 25.5 percent of Nigeria’s GDP and almost 50 percent of its labour force.

Aso Rock To Get Electricity Directly From Genco – Fashola

Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola says the Aso Rock Presidential Villa has signed up to procure its electricity directly from a power generation company (Genco) instead of through a distribution company (Disco).He, also explained that the federal government has approved the concession of five small hydro power stations to private operators to run.

Gay pastor, Nabbed for Infecting Underage Boys With HIV in Lagos

A gay pastor, Chizemdere Ezuma has been arrested by the police for infecting underage boys with HIV in Lagos State.

Ezuma was arrested after the police received information that he had resurfaced three months afte being declared wanted because a male prostitute, Prince Chinecherem who was arrested by the police made some revelations that implicated him.

CCT Orders Onnoghen To Defend Charges Against Him

The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has  rejected the no-case submission made by suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen.

The Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) , Danladi Umar, in a ruling, stated that the prosecution has provided sufficient evidence to establish a prima facie case against the defendant, Onnoghen, to warrant his being called to enter his defence.

Umar therefore rejected the no-case submission and ordered the defendant to enter a defence against the six-count charge of non-declaration of assets brought against him by the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).
