The helicopter conveying vice president Yemi Osinbajo, to Kabba, Kogi state on Saturday crashed.

Although, the vice president escaped unhurt, the chopper was said to have crash-landed at the Kabba township stadium when its propellers suddenly pulled out.


NNPC To Extend Oil And Gas Exploration To Other Basins In The Country

Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) has been asked to begin oil and gas exploration in all the six basins in the country considering the fact that the energy sector is now the main economic driver of the country.

It will be recalled that prospecting for oil and gas started in the Gongola Basin of the Upper Benue Trough about 20 years ago when research revealed that there is a deposit of oil and gas in the area.

Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, has told Nigerians that it is important not only to people of Kwara state but Nigeria as a whole to vote the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government out of power in the coming general elections.
