Buhari Has Sent Corruption Under The Carpet – Lai Mohammed
The Minister of Information and Tourism, Lai Mohammed on Tuesday says the President Muhammadu Buhari administration has sent corruption “under the carpet”.
The minister in an interview with VOA in Washington said Buhari’s government will be more determined in the fight against corruption in his second term because corruption is one of the major causes of poverty and underdevelopment in the country.
EFCC Reveals Why Ofili-Ajumogobia Was Rearrested
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has revealed that it re-arrested a dismissed judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia to enable it to prefer a fresh criminal charge against her.
The anti-graft agency in a statement on Tuesday by its Acting Head of Media and Publicity, Tony Orilade, revealed that the arrest was in line with the decision of the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, in a case involving Justice Hyeladzira Nganjiwa, where the court held that a judge could not be prosecuted until he or she had either been dismissed or compulsorily retired by the National Judicial Council (NJC).
NLC wants Minimum Wage as Easter gift
Some members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are appealing to President Muhammadu Buhari to sign the minimum wage bill sent to him by the National Assembly for assent.
Some of the workers, who spoke to journalists on Tuesday in Abuja, over the delay in signing the bill into law said it was causing unnecessary anxiety. They urged him to make the bill an Easter present for the workers.

Buhari’s Aid Confirms Onnoghen’s Suspension As A Political Move – Timi Frank
Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary for the All Progressives Congress, Timi Frank, says the suspension of former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen was a political move.
He also believes that the claims of Lauretta Onochie, a presidential aide were right, and unconsciously she had revealed the true motives behind the suspension of the former Chief Justice.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has given the presidential candidate of thr Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar a piece of advice on how to reclaim his allegedly stolen mandate.
Kanu openly advised Atiku to claim his mandate back as he was more Nigerian than the allegedly fake president of Nigeria, who he claimed died in 2017 and Atiku is privy to it.
