FG Has Largely Depreciated Boko Haram’s Efficacy – Minister

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed says that the Federal Government has “largely depreciated the efficiency and efficacy of Boko Haram” insurgents.

Mohammed also pointed that for anyone to correctly assess the administration’s performance in fighting insecurity, particularly Boko Haram, the individual must understand what the situation was before the inception of the administration in 2015 where the insurgents attacked UN Building and Police headquarters in Abuja.

NASS Leadership: I Have No Secret Agenda in Backing Lawan, Gbajabiamila – Tinubu

The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has said he has no secret motive in supporting Ahmed Lawan and Femi Gbajabiamila to be the next Senate President and House Speaker, respectively.

Tinubu denied supporting both men in their quest to lead the incoming National Assembly with a view to positioning himself to become the potential presidential candidate of the APC, in 2023.

Bukola Saraki Reacts to  Tinubu’s Allegations on Budget

The Senate president, Bukola Saraki hqas reacted to the allegation of budget padding raised by the  Leader of the All Progressive Congress APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu against the legislature.

Reacting to the allegation on budget passage delay intentionally by Saraki, the leader of the National Assembly putting the blame of budget delay on the Senate President or Speaker can only be mischief, or at best, playing to the gallery.

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the recently held election,  Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the killings of a British aid worker, Faye Mooney and her partner, Matthew Oguche in Kaduna state, declaring that the country must be kept safe for Nigerians and foreigners as well as he added that no life is “worth taking to advance a religious, political or criminal cause.”
