Federal Government Reveals Allocation of 2018 Budget
Report by the Economic Confidential on the 2018 budget has shown that the federal government, the 36 states and the 774 local government councils in Nigeria all shared a sum of N8 trillion from the Federation Account in 2018 with Delta and Akwa Ibom States being the biggest recipients.
The revenues came from sales from export of crude oil, domestic sales of crude oil, Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), Import Duty, Excise Duty, LPG, NLNG, Company Income Tax (CIT), Withholding Tax (WHT), Royalties, gas flared and other miscellaneous oil revenue such as Oil Prospecting License and Oil Mining Licence. The agencies responsible for revenue generating revenues to the Federation Account includes the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), and the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR).

Troops Conquer Bandits’ Hideout in Zamfara
The troops made contact and a shoot out between the troops and bandits broke out at the bushes of Kirsa and Sunke villages which resulted in the extermination of six (6) criminals, the recovery of two AK 47 Riffles and two motorcycles.
Army Arrests Traditional Rulers In Zamfara for allegedly Serving As Bandits Informants
The Nigerian Army has confirmed the arrest of the traditional rulers of Doka and Mutu villages in Gusau Local Government Area of Zamfara State in lieu of their involvement in serving as informants to bandits that have been terrorizing the villages.
The Nigerian Army also said that aside from the arrest of the duo whose names were withheld from the public, it also apprehended 16 other suspected informants to the bandits.

Police React to Gombe Easter Day Fatal Motor Accident
The Nigeria Police Force NPF has condoled the families and friends of the dead and the injured victim has advised motorists to exercise utmost caution by obeying all traffic signs, rules and regulations while driving especially this festive period and beyond.

FG Commended over Raid at Caramelo Strip Club
The Director-General, National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Olusegun Runsewe, has commended the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) , Mohammed Bello,for effecting the timely raid on strippers clubs in Abuja at a popular night club, Caramelo in Abuja last week Wednesday by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).
NCAC in a statement on the arrest through Runsewe declared that curbing strippers activities in Abuja is the right step to take.
