Atiku, PDP Plotting to Scuttle Buhari’s Govt, FG Alleges

Federal Government has alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and its Presidential candidate in the February 23 election, Atiku Abubakar were allegedly making desperate efforts to scuttle President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

It therefore warned PDP and Atiku to quickly retrace their steps or risk an offence of treason against Nigeria government.

Alleged Drug Trafficking: Zainab, Abubakar Get 6m Compesation from Kano Government

Kano Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has presented N3 million cash gift to Zainab Aliyu and Ibrahim Abubakar, who were recently released from Saudi Arabia prison over alleged drug trafficking.

Ganduje gave the donation when the duo were presented by Federal Government delegation to him at the Government House, Kano.

Zainab Aliyu, a Nigerian student who was recently released from Saudi Arabia prison after proveing her innocence over alleged drug drafficking offence has spoken on her ordeal while in detention.

Zainab, who expressed her shock at the incident said she shed tears after being detained for drug trafficking because she had never seen or used drugs in her life and her family were helpless over her trauma that started in December 2018.

A Federal High Court in Abuja has stopped the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from investigating Senate President Bukola Saraki after he went to the court, filing two charges in order to restrain the anti-graft agency from probing his earnings and emoluments.
