APC Alarm on Alleged Overthrow By Atiku, PDP Are Mere Fabrication – Timi Frank
Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Timi Frank, has described the recent alarm raised by the APC-led government that there was a plan to overthrow the government as mere fabrication and falsehood.
Frank, therefore, challenged the military to conduct a thorough investigation and reveal the names of the said coup plotters to Nigeria public.
Curb Rising Security Concern With State Police, Ekweremadu Urges Buhari
Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to support the creation of state police in order to curb rising security concerns in the country.
The deputy senate president blamed the rising security challenges on the unitary police system prescribed by the constitution, noting that the best option was not to run away from decentralised policing.
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo has highlighted some challenges he had to go during his eight years as the administrator of the state.
Okorocha, who stated that he emerged governor without help from the elite but from the masses in the state added that he saw Imo State calling to be rescued and he swore that he would make the state better.
The Nigerian Police (NPF) has continued to record success through its just launched Operation Puff Adder parading 93 kidnap suspects from the North-Central, North-Western and North-Eastern parts of the Country.
