BRIT Awards – Nominations And Listings

The BRIT awards, acronym for British Record Industry Trusts Show is an award given out to celebrate excellence in music. The 2019 edition will be aired by Thames Television, BBC One and ITV with the awards ceremony holding on the 20th of February at O2 arena, London.

The awards ceremony is presented by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) with its first edition going as far back as 1977. It is the highest profiled music awards in the UK with MasterCard as its major sponsors in recent years.

Just last year, Dua Lipa on receiving her award made a toast to seeing more women on that stage. One year later, a host of women are doing that. Dua herself is up for four awards tied with Annie Marie, the most nominated artist of the year. Here’s the full list of the nominees:
