Buhari Appears To Spy On Aisha Ballot Paper[Video] | Twitter Reacts
– President Buhari takes a look at his wife’s, Aisha Buhari Ballot paper
With the 2019 Presidential Elections in full flight, many have trooped out in droves and numbers to vote for their favourite Presidential candidates, so also the Presidential candidates themselves.
President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Aisha Buhari have also been pictured casting their votes in Buhari’s native home, Daura.
That said, a picture has surfaced online that has got people talking. In the picture, Aisha Buhari was seen to be casting her vote while her husband, Buhari seemed to be spying at her ballot paper which was supposed to be kept secret.
This has sparked reactions online with several people suggesting that the President was unsure who his wife had voted for and was trying to take a sneak peak into her ballot paper to be sure she had voted for him.
While so many were quick to make funny comments and accusations, a comment by Reno Omokri stood out:
He wrote: “Dear @INECNIGERIA, it is illegal for anybody, no matter how highly placed to check another person’s ballot. The Electoral Act provides for a secret ballot. An individual named @MBuhari was caught on video/camera violating this”
Here’s a video of how it happened
