Buhari commiserates with Bagugu, Wamako over brothers’, others death

– Buhari condoles with Bagudu and Wammako over the loss of the loved ones.

– Late  Baraden Wamakko was the 15th Baraden Wamakko.

President Muhammad Buhari has condoled with Kebbi state governor, Abubakar Bagudu, former Sokoto governor, Aliyu Wammako and people of their states over the death of their brothers.

Governor Bagudu’s junior brother, Faruk Bagudu died in the early hours of Thursday, March 7, in his residence in Birnin Kebbi, after a brief illness.

The president also condoled Bagudu on the demise of Bala Sakaba, a former Secretary to the State Government and Muhammad Danteni a member, House of Representative, representing Shanga, Yauri, Ngaski federal constituency.

The Interior Minister, Abdulrahaman Dambazau led the federal government delegation to the governor in Birnin-Kebbi, the state capital on Saturday alongside  FCT Minister, Musa Bello, Justice Minister Abubakar Malami and the Senior Special Adviser to the President On Domestic and Social Events, Mallam Sarki Abba .

Dambazau said President Buhari supposed to be here but couldn’t make it due to national issues and commitments, being the reason they were delegated us to be there on his behalf.

The minister, who pointed that the incident was a great loss to the nation, the state and the families of the bereaved, prayed that the souls of the departed rest in peace.

Responding, Governor Bagudu thanked the Presidential delegations, and prayed to God to grant President Buhari long life and good health as well as peace and unity in the country.

The delegation also moved to Sokoto state to condole with the Family home of former Sokoto governor, Senator Aliyu Wammako over the death of his younger brother, Alhaji Salihu Barade, the 15th Baraden Wamakko.

Also present at the event was Sokoto Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu,

The late Baraden Wamakko, who died two days o to governorship rerun after a brief illness, is survived by two wives, eight children and several grandchildren.

He was appointed and installed as the 15th Baraden Wamakko and a Senior Counsellor of the Sultanate Council of Sokoto in 2009.
