Buhari Sends Osinbajo to South Africa for Ramaphosa’s Inauguration
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, will represent President Muhammadu Buhari at Saturday’s inauguration of the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa in Pretoria, the nation’s capital.
This was revealed in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the VP on Media and Publicity, Mr Laolu Akande, said on Friday.
“Prof Osinbajo will be joining several other Heads of State and Government from Africa and beyond, who are expected at the inauguration ceremony in Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
“The Vice-Presiden, who leaves Abuja this evening, will be accompanied by the Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, and he is expected back in Abuja tomorrow evening.”
