CAN Finally Reacts To Sexual Allegations Against Pastor Fatoyinbo

Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has reacted to the current rape allegations against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA.

Yesterday, social media went wild after Busola Dakolo reported in an interview that Pastor Fatoyinbo raped her twice as a teenager. However, he denied the allegations via a press release.

After Busola Dakolo’s allegations, several other women have also came out to accuse the pastor of sexual molestation.

Many have reacted to the silence of pastors and Christian bodies against this ongoing issue. Meanwhile, New Telegraph reported that Supo Ayokunle, the president of CAN said it isn’t CAN’s business how people run their churches.

I am sorry CAN does not intervene in how churches are running. Churches belong to denominations and these are the two bodies that regulate how pastors run their ministries, not CAN.” He said.

“CAN deals with inter religious matters and stands between the church and the government.”

Also in the news is Adesua Etomi who opened up on how she was sexually molested as a kid.
