‘CAN My Foot’, Omokri Berates Christain Leaders Over Visit to Buhari

– Reno Omokri slammed CAN for visiting Buhari in Aso Rock to congratulate him on his reelection.

– He said they should have visited family of Leah Sharibu,herdsmen’s attack victims in Souther Kaduna, or the family of Eunice Elisha.

Reno Omokri, a former media aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan has beraetd the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for visiting President Muhammadu Buhari to congratulate him on his reelection than visiting the family of Leah Sharibu’s family, whom was kidnnapped alongsie fellow students in Dapchi, Yobe state or Southern Kaduna where some people were killed by herdsmen, or the family of Eunice Elisha, beheaded for preaching.

Reactions have been pouring over the visit of the Christian leaders to Aso Rock hew weeks after the general election.

Recall that Sharibu, who refused to denounce her Christian faith has been in the den of the Boko Haram for over one year despite several pleas from different quarters in the country to the Federal Government to ensure her release and that of others.

People of Southern Kaduna has witnessed the death of over hundred people on herdsmen attack and reprisal attacks.

Despite the visit of Kaduna Governor, Nasir El-Rufa’ito the location after an attack on the vilage that left over sixty people dead, herdmen has been on rampage in the community.

According to reports, normalcy has been restored in the area with military presence.

It could be noted that despite condemnations of the attacks on Christians, the leadership of CAN is yet to visit the place.

Reacting to their visit to Buhari, Omokri took to his Twitter handle and wrote: “I saw Christian Association of Nigeria leaders gathered to congratulate @MBuhari. I asked when did CAN leaders gather to visit Leah Sharibu’s family, or S Kaduna people killed by herdsmen, or the family of Eunice Elisha, beheaded for preaching? According to Obasanjo, CAN my foot!”
