Capello Asks Allegri To Wait For Job At Manchester United Rather Than Go To Bayern

Fabio Capello suggests that his compatriot, Allegri should wait for a chance in the Premier league.

Although, Capello thinks Allegri would fit just well into the vacant position at Bayern Munich, he thinks Manchester United would be the ideal place for the former Juventus gaffer.

The former England boss thinks his compatriot should pass the Bayern job and wait for the position at Manchester United to be vacant.

Both Italian coaches remain the most successful in recent history. Capello can boast of four Scuddetto titles with AC Milan, one at Roma and two at Juve. However, the Scuddetto titles at Juventus were scrapped on the back of the Calciopoli scandal.

Asked whether Bayern was a good fit for Allegri, he said it was but was unsure whether the Italian Serie A was welcoming to Italians after Carlo Ancelotti.

According to Football Italia, via Radio Anch’io Sport , the former English boss said:

“He’d be a good fit at Bayern Munich, although I don’t know how welcome Italians are in Germany after [Carlo] Ancelotti.

“England’s exciting, there’s the possibility of doing well and the Premier League is a championship that enriches you.

“If I was Allegri, I’d go to Manchester.”

While the job at the Allianz arena is available following a 5-1 humiliation by Einthracht Frankfurt, Manchester United seem to be sticking with Norwegian boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Following three wins on the bounce including a Carabao Cup win over Chelsea, the pressure on Solskjaer seems to have subsided.

However, a recent slip to Bournemouth in the Premier League has left them languishing in 10th position on the Premier league standings seems like that pressure won’t come off so easily.

At Bayern, Allegri would have to fend off challenges from the likes of Jose Mourinho, Mauricio Pochettino and Erik Ten Hag, among others.
