Chelsea Recover From A Goal Deficit To Record Win Over Arsenal

Chelsea bounced back from an early goal by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to grab all three points at the Emirates Stadium.

The London Blues found the net twice in the final 10 minutes of the encounter to record a 2-1 win over their London rivals.

With that win, Chelsea have restored their four point cushion over fifth-placed Manchester United.

Aubameyang drew the first straw at the Emirates. The Gabonese striker stooped low to head-on a flick from Calum chambers. North London was in crackles. Could this be the Gunners first win under the watch of Mikel Arteta? Only time would tell.

It was a long period of back and forth football from both sides as both sides struggled to find the net. Chelsea, in particular, couldn’t quite come up with good results in the final third as they struggled to hit the equalizer just before the interval.

The London blues were much more balanced and effective in the second half of the encounter. They were spon rewarded for all their hardwork.

With the curtains closing in on the game, all Frank Lampard’s men would have thought of was an equalizer. Little did they know that a fine was on the list of cards for them.

Their equalizer quite interestingly didn’t come through a familiar channel pr one they could have imagined. It was Jorginho at the wheels. The Italian tapped in the ball after Berd Leno misjudged a free kick from Mason Mount. That goalkeeping gaffe by the German goalie gifted Chelsea the equalizer. However, the lads wanted more.

Tammy Abraham got onto the receiving end of an incisive counter-attack to give Chelsea a deserved win. What a way to bounce back from a disappointing win to Southampton at the Stamdord Bridge.

Abraham latched on to a cut back from Willian to give Frank Lampard all three points. Incredible game that was!
