Chelsea welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Stamford Bridge in a bid to return to top four on the log and vie for a place in Champions League football come next season.

Chelsea could potentially find their way back into the top four by the end of the weekend despite having won only four of their last eight matches in the League.

Maurizio Sarri’s men are only two points adrift of Manchester United who will be locking horns with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

A draw between these teams and a two goal win for Chelsea would ultimately push the London Blues to fourth place on the log.

Sarri would have his backline to thank for their recent improvements having allowed four goals in their last seven outings.

Attack-wise, Higuain looks like he is getting up to speed with the pace of English football and their attack line look hungrier for goals at the moment compared to when they deployed goal-shy Hazard in a false-9 position.

Wolves occupy seventh-place on the log and wouldn’t be tipped to be in that position at the start of the season but here we are.

Wolves have got the better of Chelsea this season and Nuno Espirito Santo would be looking to achieve a similar result. Wolves have performed brilliantly well against the ‘Big Six’ and don’t look like they can be overawed by any member of that cult.

They will be wishing to have a taste of European football next season and would have to come out with at least a point from all their remaining matches to achieve that.
