Coronavirus: UK Government Releases Quarantined Citizens Evacuated from China

The United Kingdom Government has released over a hundred quarantined British in Milton Keynes over coronavirus fears after completing the 14 days process.

They were evacuated from the Chinese city of Wuhan to the Kents Hill Park training and conference center in Buckinghamshire, which was used as a quarantine facility for 118 UK citizens.

They were quarantined due to the virus spread in Wuhan this year and were allowed to leave this morning.

NHS England confirmed their release due to the absence of symptoms of the disease.

Speaking with reporters outside the building, a man from Manchester who left with his Chinese wife described the feeling as ‘fantastic’, while others beamed with suitcases in hand as they waited for taxis to take them home.

A family who were quarantined with their toddler said the experience was ‘hard’ but it hasn’t put them off returning to Wuhan one day.
