Corporate Affairs Commission reminds Nigerians that cost of Business Registration has been reduced

Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC reminds Nigerians that the cost of Business Registration has been reduced.

The Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC took to its twitter page to remind Nigerians that it had earlier reduced the cost of Business Name registration from the sum of N10,000 to the sum of N5,000.

However, the commission says the reduction lasts until March 31 2019.

The reduction in the cost of Business Name registration is part of the Business Incentive Strategy (BIS) by the commission to ensure that all businesses in the country are registered.

The Corporate Affairs Commission which is the agency of the government in charge of registration of businesses in Nigeria encouraged business owners to utilize the BIS window to get their businesses formalized.

It said:

The general public is hereby reminded that the reduction in the cost of Business Names registration from N10,000 to N5,000 ends on 31st March, 2019. Please take advantage of the Business Incentive Strategy (BIS) window to formalize your business. Thank you

Also, before now, the CAC has promised to register businesses within 6 hours of application.
