Court Stops Oshiomhole from Parading Himself As APC chairman

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole is now a topic of discussion in the Twitter community.

This is because he has been restrained by a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Jabi, Abuja from acting in the capacity.

In a ruling on an application for an interlocutory injunction on Wednesday, Justice Danlami Senchi, held that Oshiomhole should cease to occupy the position pending the determination of the substantive suit.

In his ruling, Justice Senchi opined that the APC was wrong to retain Oshiomhole as its National Chairman even when he is under suspension as a member of the party.

He, therefore, ordered Oshiomhole to stop parading himself as the National Chairman of the party and directed the party to cease acknowledging him in that regard.

The judge also restrained the party from allowing Oshiomhole to access the party secretariat henceforth.
