Daniel Bryan Could Face One Of These Men At WrestleMania 35 | Kofi Kingston An Absentee

WrestleMania is just around the corner and things are shaping up really well in the WWE. It is no longer news that Ronda Rousey will be defending her title against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in what seems like a handicap match, Seth Rollins will then go up against brutal Brock Lesnar but Daniel Bryan ’s opponent still remains a mystery to WWE fans

Who could get a chance at the title in a face-off with Daniel Bryan?

With the Elimination Chamber over, there were clamours aplenty for a match-up between Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston – an 11-year old WWE Veteran – but it seems like the WWE had other plans.

For history sake, Kingston shouldn’t have even featured in the Chamber match but it was injury to Mustapha Ali that earned him a chance in the Gaunlet match on SmackDown to defeat Samoa Joe, – who was the first to be eliminated – Jeff Hardy and eventually Bryan himself.

Kofi Kingston doesn’t look likely to be getting a shot at his first WWE title at Wrestlemania, at least not yet, as Bryan is poised to face a returning superstar according to Meltzer.

The names in the running to face Daniel Bryan include:

  • Undertaker – who is rumoured to already be retired
  • Kevin Owens
  • Kurt Angle
  • John Cena
  • Sami Zayn
  • Bray Wyatt
  • Batista

Undertaker doesn’t seem likely to be an opponent after the 53-yr-old reportedly distanced himself from wrestling activities going as far as deleting anything related to the WWE from his social media accounts.

Batista has always talked up a retirement match between himself and Triple H and the WWE title doesn’t look like what he has eyes on anymore.

Kurt Angle would gladly take this match-up with both hands as he looks to try one more shot at the title and this could pose a really good chance to achieve that.

Sami Zayn and Bray Wyatt do not seem like interesting opponents at the moment and therefore seem the least likely.

But wait a minute! We would need to find out who Daniel Bryan would lock horns with in the WWEFastLane. Stay tuned to iDONSABI.com for more updates.
