Davido reacts to court nullifying his uncle Senator Ademola Adeleke election

Davido has reacted to the nullifying of his uncle’s election by a high court on Monday (April 02 2019).

Senator Ademola Adeleke’s election as the next Osun State governor was nullified on the grounds of academic qualifications.

The court ruled that Adeleke did not posses the minimum qualification of O’Level required to become a state governor.

Adeleke was dragged to court by two chieftains of the All Progressive Peoples Congress, Wahab Raheem and Adam Habeeb. They accused him of not possessing the requisite educational qualification (secondary school certificate), to contest for the office of Governor.

The ruling of the high court came days after a Tribunal ruled that Adeleke won the 2018 governorship election in Osun State.

The judgement came just days after a Tribunal ruled that he won the 2018 governorship election in the state.

Senator Ademola Adeleke’s nephew, Davido reacted to the report by dropping a comment on Sahara Reporters twitter page who carried the story.

He wrote:
