Reacting to the situation, Apostle Suleman wrote that he understands if Sanusi was dethroned but can’t understand why a Governor would detain him.

He wrote on his Twitter page;

“I can understand the dethronement  of the former emir of kano.what I dont understand is the detention over what?

“A governor has right to depose a traditional ruler but has no right to detain anyone who has not committed an offense. Disrespecting a governor is not a criminal offense.”
