Don’t Let Hunger Kill You At Home Because of Their Greed, Sowore Tells Nigerians

Human rights activists, Omoyele Sowore has called on Nigerian not to allow hunger to kill them at home due to the greed, corruption, and incompetence of the government.

He stated this via his Twitter page. Although it is not clear what the message means, with a case still existing between him and the federal government on alleged treason after planning to hold a rally tagged #RevolutionNow.

Most Nigerians live below the poverty line and they are on a daily wage. But with lockdown and curfews being placed in some states, they have been significantly affected by the situation.

“#RevolutionNow Pots are empty, plates are empty and the stomach is very empty! Bang your pot at home, don’t let hunger kill you at home because of their greed, corruption, and incompetence,” he wrote.

It is hoped that this won’t lead to another arrest or additional charges against him. But it’s a pan protest, right?
