Don’t Speak Queens English To SARS, Speak Pidgin – Yomi Shogunle

— Yomi Shogunle Tweets that Pidgin should be spoken to the Nigerian Police (SARS) to avoid another “Kasala”.

— Nigerians assume “kasala” means being murdered by SARS.

SARS, sadly has been in the news since the beginning of the month. From harassing  Nigeria citizens to ending their lives.

Last week, it was reported that SARS in Ajegunle, Lagos had shot a boy and a girl. The girl died immediately and the boy was shot at the back of his head.

Earlier this month, a man with the name Kolade Johnson was shot dead by SARS.

Several videos have also surfaced online, showing how SARS harass the citizens. Many people have campaigned on Twitter, including the celebrities bringing about the hashtags, #ReformNigerianPolice and #ENDSARS.

In a video where a police chief is seen addressing the police men against the incessant police brutality. Yomi Shogunle, the Assistant Commissioner of Police tweeted the video and added his own advice for Nigerians.

“Nice one ?.

Lagos State will be calm if police chiefs in #Lagos do more of this.

Nigerians are not having this as many called out Yomi Shogunle, showing their dissatisfaction and stating that his tweet is unprofessional.
