Dybala Reportedly Tests Positive To Coronavirus

In another worrying development for Italian outfit, Juventus, Paulo Dybala has tested positive for the pandemic Coronavirus. This news came only moments after a defender, Rugani was found to have contracted COVID-19.

Dybala is reportedly now in quarantine with other 121 staff members of the club in self-isolation as well.

According to a report by El Nacional, Gonzalo Higuain is also being closely watched having been in contact with his Argentine compatriot lately.

With the sporting calendar being increasingly disrupted by the spread of the virus, the chances that Italian football would resume is becoming increasingly bleak day after day.

Although the Premier Leagye announced on Thursday that weekend matches will go on as planned, there might be a swift change in plans after Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta is said to have tested positive to the virus as well.

The Arsenal manager has now been quarantined but hopes he can be back in time to guide Arsenal through the season should the Premier League allow the league to still run.

Dybala’s positive testing to Coronavirus comes only hours after Juventus defender, Rugani also tested positive to the virus.

Juventus last played a Serie A fixture on Sunday, where they defeated their opponents, Inter Milan behind closed doors by a 2-0 scoreline where Rugani was condemned to the bench.

In response to Rugani’s coronavirus confirmation, Inter Milan have also suspended all games on their calendar as the virus continues to hit Italy really hard.
